The biological effects of EPO are mediated by the specific erythropoietin receptor (EPOR/EPO Receptor) on bone marrow erythroblasts, which transmits signals important for both proliferation and differentiation along the erythroid lineage. EPOR protein is a type â … single-transmembrane cytokine receptor, and belongs to the homodimerizing subclass which functions as ligand-induced or ligand-stabilized homodimers. EPOR signaling prevents neuronal death and ischemic injury. Recent studies have shown that EPO and EPOR protein may be involved in carcinogenesis, angiogenesis, and invasion.

Activity: 1. Immobilized CD131 at 10 μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind biotinylated recombinant human EPOR with a linear range of 0.16-4 μg/ml.
2. Measured by its ability to inhibit Epodependent proliferation of TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is 1-4 ng/ml in the presence of 0.1 U/mL Recombinant Human EPO.

Sequence: Met-Pro 250

Purity: > 90 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.

Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, 8% sucrose, 0.5% Tween-20, pH 7.4
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.

Reconstitution: Please refer to the printed manual for detailed information.

Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.

Calculated MW: 51.0 kDa

Observed MW: 55-60 kDa

Storage: Generally, lyophilized proteins are stable for up to 12 months when stored at -20 to -80℃. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-8℃ for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20℃ for 3 months.

Shipping: This product is provided as lyophilized powder which is shipped with ice packs.

Research Use Only
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0305/9482/6376/products/logo_new_ca7d011c-ea7a-47ac-8e5c-4b194ea75d8a.png?v=1709294078
