The Toll-like receptors pathway is a part of the immune system that recognize structurally conserved molecular patterns of microbial pathogens, resulting in an inflammatory immune response. TOLLIP constitutes a complex with Tom1 to regulate endosomal transferring of ubiquitinated proteins.
