Background: ANGL8, hormone that acts as a blood lipid regulator by regulating serum triglyceride levels. May be involved in the metabolic transition between fasting and refeeding: required to direct fatty acids to adipose tissue for storage in the fed state . According to a report, may act by promoting ANGPTL3 cleavage. According to another study, not required for cleavage of ANGPTL3.
Purification and Purity: affinity purified by Protein G
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: ANGPTL8 monoclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of ANGPTL8 protein.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~20 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded mouse liver tissue damage using ANGPTL8 monoclonal antibody at dilution of 1:400., Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded mouse liver tissue damage using ANGPTL8 monoclonal antibody at dilution of 1:200., Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded mouse liver tissue damage using ANGPTL8 monoclonal antibody at dilution of 1:200., Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded mouse liver tissue damage using ANGPTL8 monoclonal antibody at dilution of 1:200.
