Coxsackieviruses belong to the genus of Enteroviruses, which are distributed worldwide. They can cause various disorders, including viral encephalitis and myocarditis. The human pathogenic strains include Coxsackieviruses A1-22, 24 and B1-6.
The proprietary recombinant Coxsackie antigen is produced in E. coli and purified by affinity chromatography.
The antigen BA134VS01 is suitable for the detection of IgG, IgM and IgA antibodies against Coxsackievirus.
