Background: B cell adapter molecule (BAM32) is also designated a dual adapter for phosphotyrosine and 3-phosphotyrosine, and 3-phosphoinositide (DAPP1) or B lymphocyte adapter protein. BAM32 is a B cell-associated adapter that is crucial for B cell antigen receptor signaling regulation. BAM32 interacts with Ptdlns and PLC γ2 and, upon B cell activation, the protein is phosphorylated on tyrosine residues. It is a mainly cytoplasmic protein that can translocate to the cell membrane after cell stimulation. BAM32, which contains one PH domain and one SH2 domain, is primarily expressed in placenta and lung tissues, but can also be detected in heart, liver, pancreas and brain.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Extra Notes: Immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyzes of DAPP1 (E135) pAb in paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue at 1:100.

Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 32 kDa

Specificity: DAPP1 (E135) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of DAPP1 protein.
