Background: The protein encoded by this gene is an adapter protein necessary for the engulfment of apoptotic cells by phagocytes. Several transcript variants, some protein coding and some thought not to be protein coding, have been found for this gene.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: Polyclonal Antibodies
Bioworld Molecular Weight: 34kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using GULP1 antibody at 1:3000 dilution.
Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25ug per Lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST.
Detection: ECL Enhanced Kit.
