HSP β2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Sizes: 50μL, 100μL

Catalogue Numbers: ES2579-50, ES2579-100

Lead times: 1-2 weeks, if manufacturer has product in stock

Manufacturer/Ship Location: China

Background: The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the superfamily of small heat-shock proteins containing a conservative alpha-crystallin domain at the C-terminal part of the molecule. The protein is expressed preferentially in the heart and skeletal muscle. This protein regulates Myotonic Dystrophy Protein Kinase, which plays an important role in maintenance of muscle structure and function. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2012],

Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat

Host: Rabbit

Applications: WB, IHC, IF, ELISA

Alternate Names: HSPB2, Heat shock protein beta-2, HspB2, DMPK-binding protein, MKBP

Clonality: Polyclonal

Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human HSPB2. AA range:121-170

Isotype: IgG

Target: HSP β2

Specificity: HSP β2 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of HSP β2 protein.

Dilution: Western Blot: 1/500 - 1/2000. Immunohistochemistry: 1/100 - 1/300. Immunofluorescence: 1/200 - 1/1000. ELISA: 1/40000. Not yet tested in other applications.

Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.

Concentration: 1 mg/ml,

Formlation: Liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide.

Expression: Expressed preferentially in skeletal muscle and heart but not in the lens,
