Pin1 Polyclonal Antibody Sizes: 50μL, 100μL Catalogue Numbers: RA28770-50, RA28770-100 Citations, Manuals and MSDS Available upon request. Background: peptidylprolyl cis/trans isomerase, NIMA-interacting 1 (PIN1) Homo sapiens Peptidyl-prolyl cis/trans isomerases (PPIases) catalyze the cis/trans isomerization of peptidyl-prolyl peptide bonds. This gene encodes one of the PPIases, which specifically binds to phosphorylated ser/thr-pro motifs to catalytically regulate the post-phosphorylation conformation of its substrates. The conformational regulation catalyzed by this PPIase has a profound impact on key proteins involved in the regulation of cell growth, genotoxic and other stress responses, the immune response, induction and maintenance of pluripotency, germ cell development, neuronal differentiation, and survival. This enzyme also plays a key role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease and many cancers. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Jun 2011], Condition: Liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. Storage Instructions: -20°C/1 year Recommended dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 1/100 - 1/300. Immunofluorescence: 1/200 - 1/1000. ELISA: 1/5000. Not yet tested in other applications. Alternative Names: PIN1; Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase NIMA-interacting 1; Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase Pin1; PPIase Pin1; Rotamase Pin1 Applications: IHC-p; IF/ICC; ELISA Species Cross-Reactivity: Human; Mouse; Rat GeneID (Human): 5300 SWISS: Q13526 Source: Rabbit Research Use Only
