Background: α1B-adrenergic receptors couple to Gq/11 and induce neoplastic transformation in NIH/3T3 cell transfectants. α1B receptors (α1B-ARs) can form heterooligomers with α1A and α1D receptors. α1B-AR transcripts are abundant in heart, brain and kidney.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: AR-α1B polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of α1B adrenergic receptor protein.
