Background: Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) is a protein belonging to the cytokine family, contains 140 amino acids. It is known to play an important role in the maturation of T cell populations through activation of antigen presenting cells. TSLP induces the release of T-cell-attracting chemokines from monocytes and, in particular, enhances the maturation of CD11c+ dendritic cells. It can induce allergic inflammation by directly activating mast cells. TSLP is produced mainly by non-hematopoietic cells such as fibroblasts, epithelial cells and different types of stromal or stromal-like cells. These cells are located in regions where TSLP activity is required.

Description: Recombinant Cynomolgus Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Tyr29-Gln159 (Glu37Gln) is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.

Biological Activity: Immobilized Anti-Human TSLP mAb (Cat#NC066) at 2μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind Cynomolgus TSLP-His (Cat#CR62). The ED50 of Cynomolgus TSLP-His (Cat#CR62) is 4.48 ng/ml.

Redissolve: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100μg/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
