Background: Beta-casein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CSN2 gene.Beta-casein is a 226 amino acids protein that belongs to the beta-casein family. It is secreted in milk. Beta-casein palys important role in determination of the surface properties of the casein micelles.
Sequence: Glu26-Val226
