Recombinant Human PIGR Protein (Fc Tag)
Sizes: 10μg, 50μg
Catalogue Numbers: PKSH032914-10, PKSH032914-50
Citations, Manuals and MSDS Available upon request.
Abbreviation: PIGR
Target Synonym: Polymeric Immunoglobulin Receptor; PIgR; Poly-Ig Receptor; Hepatocellular Carcinoma-Associated Protein TB6; PIGR
UNIProt ID: P01833
Research Areas: immunology
Target Species: Human
Expression Host: HEK293 Cells
Fusion Tag: C-Fc
Accession: P01833
Background: PIGR binds polymeric IgA and IgM at the basolateral surface of epithelial cells. The complex is then transported across the cell to be secreted at the apical surface. During this process a cleavage occurs that separates the extracellular (known as the secretory component) from the transmembrane segment.
Sequence: Lys19-Arg638
Purity: > 95 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution of 20mM Tris, 150mM NaCl, pH 8.0.
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
Reconstitution: Please refer to the printed manual for detailed information.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Calculated MW: 95.0 kDa
Observed MW: 120 kDa
Storage: Generally, lyophilized proteins are stable for up to 12 months when stored at -20 to -80℃. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-8℃ for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20℃ for 3 months.
Shipping: This product is provided as lyophilized powder which is shipped with ice packs.
