Background: The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily. Members of the MDR/TAP subfamily are involved in multidrug resistance. The function of this mitochondrial protein is unknown.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: ABCB10 (E479) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of ABCB10 protein.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 79 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyzes of ABCB10 (E479) pAb in paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue at 1:50, showing membrane staining. Negative control (the right) Using PBS instead of primary antibody, secondary antibody is Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-biotin followed by avidin-peroxidase., Immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyzes of ABCB10 (E479) pAb in paraffin-embedded human kidney carcinoma tissue at 1:50, showing membrane staining.
