Background: This gene encodes an enzyme that belongs to the aci-reductone dioxygenase family of metal-binding enzymes, which are involved in methionine salvage. This enzyme may regulate mRNA processing in the nucleus, and may carry out different functions depending on its localization. Related pseudogenes have been defined on chromosomes 8 and 20. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: ADI1 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of ADI1 protein.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: 21kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western Blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using ADI1 antibody at 1:3000 dilution.
