Catalogue Numbers: BS67035-50, BS67035-100
Sizes: 50µl, 100µl
Product: Liquid in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.
Swiss-Prot: P02771
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
Applications: WB
All Applications: WB (1/500 - 1/1000)
Background: Binds copper, nickel, and fatty acids as well as, and bilirubin less well than, serum albumin. Only a small percentage (less than 2%) of the human AFP shows estrogen-binding properties.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: Recognizes endogenous levels of Alpha-fetoglobulin protein.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of Alpha-fetoglobulin expression in HEK293T (A), PC12 (B), U2OS (C), mouse liver (D) whole cell lysates.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 68 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Name: HPAFP; Alpha-fetoprotein; Alpha-1-fetoprotein; Alpha-fetoglobulin
Immunogen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human Alpha-fetoglobulin. The exact sequence is proprietary.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Unmodified
