Swiss-Prot: Q9H4B7

Host: Mouse

Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat

Applications: WB, IHC

Background: Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules. It binds two moles of GTP, one at an exchangeable site on the beta chain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha chain.

Product: Liquid in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from mouse antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Specificity: Recognizes endogenous levels of Beta1-tubulin protein.

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of Beta1-tubulin expression in Hela (A), mouse brain (B), rat brain (C) whole cell lysates., Immunohistochemical analysis of Beta1-tubulin staining in human tonsil formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
