CD326 Monoclonal Antibody

Catalogue Numbers: MB65773-50, MB65773-100

Sizes: 50µl, 100µl

Product: Mouse IgG1. Liquid in PBS, pH 7.3, and 0.02% sodium azide.

Swiss-Prot: P16422

Host: Mouse

Reactivity: Human

Applications: IF, FC

All Applications: IF (1/50 - 1/200)

Background: Epithelial cell adhesion and activating molecule (EpCAM/CD326) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that mediates Ca2+-independent, homophilic adhesions on the basolateral surface of most epithelial cells. EpCAM is not expressed in adult squamous epithelium, but it is highly expressed in adeno and squamous cell carcinomas. Research studies identified EpCAM as one of the first tumor-associated antigens, and it has long been a marker of epithelial and tumor tissue. Investigators have shown that EpCAM is highly expressed in cancer cells.

Purification and Purity: The monoclonal antibody was affinity-purified from mouse antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: Recognizes human CD326

Extra Notes: Flow cytometric analysis of TF1 cells using Anti-CD326 Antibody, followed by anti-mouse IgG PE.

Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 34 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
