Background: Enables identical protein binding activity. Located in external side of plasma membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including endocrine gland; exocrine gland; genitourinary system; gut; and hemolymphoid system gland. Orthologous to human CD8A (CD8a molecule).

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
