Background: Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase D (PPID) is a ubiquitously expressed cytoplasmic enzyme that catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic bonds within HSP90 complexes to facilitate folding of protein clients, such as steroid hormone receptors . Research studies have also demonstrated that PPID plays a role in regulating the assembly and release of viruses, such as HCV and SARS-CoV-2.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: Recognizes endogenous levels of Cyclophilin D protein.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of Cyclophilin D expression in MCF7 (A), HEK293T (B), U87MG (C), rat kidney (D), mouse brain (E) whole cell lysates.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 43 kDa
