Background: CYP2A13 belongs to the cytochrome P450 superfamily. These anzymes are monooxygenases which catalyze several reactions related to drug metabolism and to the synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. CYP2A13 is involved in the metabolism of 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone, a nitrosamine specific to tobacco.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: CYP2A13 (N338) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of CYP2A13 protein.

Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 56 kDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Extra Notes: Immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyzes of CYP2A13 (N338) pAb in paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue at 1:5000. cytoplasmic staining. Negative control (the right) Using PBS instead of primary antibody, secondary antibody is Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG-biotin followed by avidin-peroxidase., Immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyzes of CYP2A13 (N338) pAb in paraffin-embedded human liver carcinoma tissue at 1:5000. cytoplasmic staining.
