Background: Dengue (Den) is one of the most threatening mosquito-borne viral diseases of humans. It is widely spread in the tropical and subtropical areas of the world, and its incidence, in terms of morbidity and mortality, has increased dramatically over the past 20 years. The etiological agent belongs to the flavivirus genus of the family Flaviviridae. Flavi-viruses are enveloped, single-stranded, positive-sense RNA vi-ruses formed by three structural proteins. Protein C (capsid), cnclosing the genome, forms a nucleocapsid that is surrounded by a lipid bilayer in which are anchored proteins M (mem-brane) and E (envelope).
Product: Rabbit IgG, 1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.2.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: Dengue virus Type I Nonstructural Protein 1 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of DENV1-NS1 protein.
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of DENV1-NS1.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Modification: Unmodified
