Background: DIRAS family GTPase 1 (DIRAS1) Homo sapiens DIRAS1 belongs to a distinct branch of the functionally diverse Ras (see HRAS; MIM 190020) superfamily of monomeric GTPases.[supplied by OMIM, Apr 2004],
