Background: disrupted in renal carcinoma 2 (DIRC2) Homo sapiens This gene encodes a membrane-bound protein from the major facilitator superfamily of transporters. Disruption of this gene by translocation has been associated with haplo-insufficiency and renal cell carcinomas.
