Background: Acts as a basic transcriptional regulator. Represses basic transcription driven by several virus and cellular promoters. When associated with BRD7, activates transcription of glucocorticoid-responsive promoter in the absence of ligand-stimulation. Plays also a role in mRNA processing and transport. Binds avidly to poly(G) and poly(C) RNA homopolymers in vitro.
Purification and Purity: Affinity Purified
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: IgG
Bioworld Molecular Weight: Calculated MW: 96 kDa; Observed MW: 118 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Immunocytochemistry analysis of E1B AP5 in Jurkat using E1B AP5 antibody, and DAPI., Western blot analysis of E1BAP5 in A549, HL-60, U251 lysates using E1BAP5 antibody., Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue using E1BAP5 antibody.
