Background: This gene encodes one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals. This isoenzyme, a homodimer, is found in mature neurons and cells of neuronal origin. A switch from alpha enolase to gamma enolase occurs in neural tissue during development in rats and primates.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: Unmodification

Bioworld Molecular Weight: 47KDa

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using ENO2 antibody at 1:500 dilution.
Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25ug per Lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST.
