Background: This gene encodes a member of the epoxide hydrolase family. The protein, found in both the cytosol and peroxisomes,binds to specific epoxides and converts them to the corresponding dihydrodiols. Mutations in this gene have beenassociated with familial hypercholesterolemia. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: EPHX2 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of EPHX2 protein.
