Background: FOX4 is a forkhead transcription factor involved in the regulation of the insulin signaling pathway. It binds to insulin-response elements (IREs) and can activate transcription of IGFBP1. FOXO4 down-regulates expression of HIF1A and suppresses hypoxia-induced transcriptional activation of HIF1A-modulated genes. It is also involved in negative regulation of the cell cycle.
Product: Rabbit IgG, 1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.2
Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Specificity: p-FoxO4 (S197) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of FoxO4 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser197.
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Immunohistochemistry (IHC) analyzes of p-FOXO4 (S197) pAb in paraffin-embedded human brain tissue.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 55, 70 kDa
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
