Background: Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) are involved as a modulator or transducer in various transmembrane signaling systems. The beta and gamma chains are required for the GTPase activity, for replacement of GDP by GTP, and for G protein-effector interaction.
Product: Liquid in 50mM Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 0.15M NaCl, 50% Glycerol, 0.01% Sodium azide and 0.05% BSA.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Specificity: Recognizes endogenous levels of GNB2 protein.
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of GNB2 expression in rat brain (A), C6 (B), NIH3T3 (C), Hela (D) whole cell lysates., Immunohistochemical analysis of GNB2 staining in human cholangiocarcinoma formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.37). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
