Background: Orphan G-protein coupled receptor. Constitutively activates the G(q/11/inositol phosphate and the G(s-alpha/cAMP signaling pathways. Has spontaneous activity for beta-arrestin recruitment. Shows a reciprocal modulation of signaling functions with the melatonin receptor MTNR1B most likely through receptor heteromerization.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
