Background: IDH1 is one of three isocitrate dehydrogenases that catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to α-ketoglutarate (α-KG). These enzymes exist in two distinct subclasses that utilize either NAD or NADP+ respectively, as an electron acceptor. IDH1 is the NADP+-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase found in the cytoplasm and peroxisomes.
Purification and Purity: Protein A affinity purified
Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity: This antibody detects endogenous levels of IDH1 and does not cross-react with related proteins.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 46 kDa
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western blot (WB) analysis of IDH1 Mouse mAb at 1:500 dilution
