Background: This encodes a zinc finger protein with an N-terminal KRAB (Kruppel-associated) domain found in transcriptional repressors. This gene is located in a region of the X chromosome thought to be involved in nonsyndromic X-linked mental retardation. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
