Reactivity: Human
Applications: WB, IHC
Background: Catalyzes the post-translational modification of target proteins by phosphopantetheine. Can transfer the 4'-phosphopantetheine moiety from coenzyme A, regardless of whether the CoA is presented in the free thiol form or as an acetyl thioester, to a serine residue of a broad range of acceptors including the acyl carrier domain of FASN.
Product: Liquid in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Specificity: Recognizes endogenous levels of LYS5 protein.
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of LYS5 expression in A2780 (A), Myla2059 (B) whole cell lysates., Immunohistochemical analysis of LYS5 staining in human brain formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
