Background: Mitochondrial membrane ATP synthase (F(1F(0 ATP synthase or Complex V produces ATP from ADP in the presence of a proton gradient across the membrane which is generated by electron transport complexes of the respiratory chain. F-type ATPases consist of two structural domains, F(1 - containing the extramembraneous catalytic core and F(0 - containing the membrane proton channel, linked together by a central stalk and a peripheral stalk. During catalysis, ATP synthesis in the catalytic domain of F(1 is coupled via a rotary mechanism of the central stalk subunits to proton translocation. Key component of the proton channel; it may play a direct role in the translocation of protons across the membrane.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: Unmodification

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide of human MT-ATP6(YP_003024031.1).

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Unmodified

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Extra Notes: Immunofluorescence analysis of L929 cells using MT-ATP6 antibody at dilution of 1:100. Blue: DAPI for nuclear staining.
