Background: muscle associated receptor tyrosine kinase (MUSK) Homo sapiens This gene encodes a muscle-specific tyrosine kinase receptor. The encoded protein may play a role in clustering of the acetylcholine receptor in the postsynaptic neuromuscular junction.
