Catalogue Numbers: BS67665-50, BS67665-100
Sizes: 50µl, 100µl
Swiss-Prot: P51957
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human
Applications: WB, IHC
Background: Protein kinase that seems to act exclusively upon threonine residues (By similarity). Required for normal entry into proliferative arrest after a limited number of cell divisions, also called replicative senescence. Required for normal cell cycle arrest in response to double-stranded DNA damage.
Product: Liquid in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Specificity: Recognizes endogenous levels of NEK4 protein.
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of NEK4 expression in MCF7 (A), Myla2059 (B) whole cell lysates., Immunohistochemical analysis of NEK4 staining in human testis formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
