Catalogue Numbers: MB66412-50, MB66412-100
Sizes: 50µl, 100µl
Swiss-Prot: P10451
Host: Rabbit
Reactivity: Human, Rat, Hamster
Applications: WB, IHC
Background: Major non-collagenous bone protein that binds tightly to hydroxyapatite. Appears to form an integral part of the mineralized matrix. Probably important to cell-matrix interaction.
Acts as a cytokine involved in enhancing production of interferon-gamma and interleukin-12 and reducing production of interleukin-10 and is essential in the pathway that leads to type I immunity.
Product: Liquid in 50mM Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 0.15M NaCl, 50% Glycerol, 0.01% Sodium azide and 0.05% BSA.
Purification and Purity: The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Specificity: Recognizes endogenous levels of Osteopontin protein.
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of Osteopontin expression in Hela (A), CHOK1 (B), C6 (C), Jurkat (D) whole cell lysates., Immunohistochemical analysis of Osteopontin staining in human colon cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.64). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
