Catalogue Numbers: BS66163-50, BS66163-100

Product: Rabbit IgG, 1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.2

Host: Rabbit

Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat

Applications: WB

All Applications: WB 1:500 - 1:2000

Background: Histone lysine lactation (Kla) is a newly discovered histone modification that regulates gene expression in macrophages. In M1 macrophages, lactic acid is derived from incompletely oxidized glucose and then produces lactyl-CoA, which is transferred via acetyltransferase p300 to the lysine tail of the histone. This modification is abundant in gene promoter regions that lack acetylation and are associated with gene expression activation.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity: Pan Lactic acid-Lysine polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of Pan Lactic acid-Lysine protein.

Bioworld Molecular Weight: ~ 35-130 kDa

Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence containing crotonylated K.

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Histone lysine lactation

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using Pan Lactic acid-Lysine antibody at 1:1000 dilution.
