Size: 100μg
Catalogue Number: PDEH100111-100
Citations, Manuals and MSDS Available upon request.
Abbreviation: PF4
Target Symptom: PF-4; C-X-C motif chemokine 4; Iroplact; Oncostatin-A; Endothelial cell growth inhibitor
Target Species: Human
Expression Host: E.coli
Fusion Tag: N-GST
UNIProt ID: P02776
Accession: P02776
Background: Released during platelet aggregation. Neutralizes the anticoagulant effect of heparin because it binds more strongly to heparin than to the chondroitin-4-sulfate chains of the carrier molecule. Chemotactic for neutrophils and monocytes. Inhibits endothelial cell proliferation, the short form is a more potent inhibitor than the longer form.
Sequence: Glu32-Ser101
Purity: > 90 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
