Catalogue Numbers: PDEH100438-100
Citations, Manuals and MSDS Available upon request.
Abbreviation: UCP3
Target Synonym: Mitochondrial uncoupling protein 3; UCP3; Solute carrier family 25 member 9
UNIProt ID: P55916
Research Areas: Cancer;
Cardiovascular; Metabolism;
Neuroscience; signal Transduction
Target Species: Human
Expression Host: E.coli
Fusion Tag: N-SUMO-His
Accession: P55916
Background: UCP are mitochondrial transporter proteins that create proton leaks across the inner mitochondrial membrane, thus uncoupling oxidative phosphorylation. As a result, energy is dissipated in the form of heat. May play a role in the modulation of tissue respiratory control. Participates in thermogenesis and energy balance.
Sequence: Met 1-Asn 113
Purity: > 95 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
Reconstitution: Please refer to the printed manual for detailed information.
Endotoxin: Please contact us for more information.
Calculated MW: 32.32 kDa
Observed MW: 30 kDa
Storage: Generally, lyophilized proteins are stable for up to 12 months when stored at -20 to -80℃. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-8℃ for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20℃ for 3 months.
Shipping: This product is provided as lyophilized powder which is shipped with ice packs.
