Description: Recombinant Mouse FGFR-4/CD334 Protein is produced by HEK293 cells expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Leu17-Asp366) of mouse FGFR-4/CD334 (Accession #NP_032037.2) fused with a hFc tag at the C-terminus.
Alternate Names: Fgfr-4, FGFR4, CD334, JTK2, MGC20292, TKF, FGFR4, Fgfr-4, FGFR4, CD334, JTK2, MGC20292, TKF, FGFR4
SWISS: Q03142
GeneID: 14186
Species: Mouse
Purity: ≥ 95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage: Store at -20 ℃. Store the lyophilized protein at -20℃ to -80 ℃ up to 1 year from the date of receipt. After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20℃ for 3 months, at 2-8℃ for up to 1 week.
Background: The protein is a member of the family of carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecules (CEACAMs), which are used by several bacterial pathogens to bind and invade host cells. The encoded transmembrane protein directs phagocytosis of several bacterial species that is dependent on the small GTPase Rac. It is thought to serve an important role in controlling human-specific pathogens by the innate immune system. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
Bio-Activity: Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Human FGF2 (Catalog: RP01042) at 5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Mouse FGFR-4/CD334 (Catalog: RP01536) with a linear range of 0.12 -53.83 ng/mL.
