Storage: Store at -20 ℃. Store the lyophilized protein at -20℃ to -80 ℃ up to 1 year from the date of receipt. After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20℃ for 3 months, at 2-8℃ for up to 1 week.
Background: Mouse Interleukin 33 (IL-33) is a proinflammatory cytokine which may also regulates gene transcription inproducer cells. IL-33 is structurally related to IL-1, which induces helper T cells to produce type 2 cytokines andacts through the receptor IL1RL-1. BindingIL-33 to this receptor activates NF-kappa-B and MAP kinases andinduces in vitro Th2 cells to produce cytokines. In vivo, IL-33 induces the expression of IL-4, IL-5, IL-13 and alsoleads to severe pathological changes in mucosal organs.
Bio-Activity: Measured in a cell proliferation assay using D10.G4.1 mouse helper T cells. The ED50 for this effect is 0.0745-0.298 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of 3.36×10^6 ~1.34×10^7 units/mg.
