Recombinant Mouse IL-7 protein(N-His)(active) Sizes: 20μg, 100μg Catalogue Numbers: PKSM041462-20, PKSM041462-100 Citations, Manuals and MSDS Available upon request. Abbreviation: IL-7 Target Symptom: Interleukin-7; IL-7; IL7 Target Species: Mouse Expression Host: E.coli Application: Cell culture Fusion Tag: N-His UNIProt ID: P10168 Accession: P10168 Background: Mouse interleukin-7(IL-7) is the member of hemopoietin family which is important to the differentiation, proliferation, and survival of lymphocyte. Mouse IL-7 shares approximately 88% aa sequence identity with rat IL-7 and 58-60% with human, equine, bovine, ovine, porcine, feline and canine IL-7. It is widely expressed in primary and secondary lymphoid tissues cell and stromal epithelial cells of the thymus, bone marrow, and intestines. IL-7 activation of IL-7 R alpha is critical for both T cell and B cell lineage development. It is important for proliferation during certain stages of B-cell maturation. IL-7 contributes to the maintenance of all naive and memory T cells, mainly by promoting expression of the anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2. It is required for optimal T cell-dendritic cell interaction. Activity: Measured in a cell proliferation assay using PHA-activated human peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBMC). The ED50 for this effect is < 0.2 ng/mL. The specific activity of recombinant mouse IL-7 is > 5 x 106IU/mg. Sequence: MFHVSFRYIFGIPPLILVLLPVTSSECHIKDKEGKAYESVLMISIDELDKMTGTDSNCPNNEPNFFRKHVCDDTKEAAFLNRAARKLKQFLKMNISEEFNVHLLTVSQGTQTLVNCTSKEEKNVKEQKKNDACFLKRLLREIKTCWNKILKGSI Purity: > 98 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE. Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4 Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization. Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual. Reconstitution: Please refer to the printed manual for detailed information. Endotoxin: < 0.1 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method. Calculated MW: 18.55 kDa Storage: Generally, lyophilized proteins are stable for up to 12 months when stored at -20 to -80℃. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-8℃ for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20℃ for 3 months. Shipping: This product is provided as lyophilized powder which is shipped with ice packs. Research Use Only
