Background: This is a copper-containing oxidase that functions in the formation of pigments such as melanins and other polyphenolic compounds (PubMed:2517217).
Catalyzes the initial and rate limiting step in the cascade of reactions leading to melanin production from tyrosine.
Sequence: Ile 274-Trp 475
Purity: > 95 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
Reconstitution: Please refer to the printed manual for detailed information.
Endotoxin: Please contact us for more information.
Calculated MW: 22.11 kDa
