Abbreviation: P-selectin; Selp
Target Synonym: CD62 antigen-like family member P; Granule membrane protein 140; GMP-140; Leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion molecule 3; LECAM3; Platelet activation dependent granule-external membrane protein; PADGEM
UNIProt ID: P98106
Research Areas: Immunology; Stem Cells; Cardiovascular
Target Species: Rat
Expression Host: HEK293 Cells
Fusion Tag: C-His
Accession: P98106
Background: Ca2+-dependent receptor for myeloid cells that binds to carbohydrates on neutrophils and monocytes. Mediates the interaction of activated endothelial cells or platelets with leukocytes. The ligand recognized is sialyl-Lewis X. Mediates rapid rolling of leukocyte rolling over vascular surfaces during the initial steps in inflammation through interaction with SELPLG.
Sequence: Met1-Gln700
Purity: > 95 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4.
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
