Abbreviation: ORF7a
Target Symptom: Accessory protein 7a; Protein U122; Protein X4; 7a
Target Species: SARS-CoV-2
Expression Host: E.coli
Fusion Tag: N-His
UNIProt ID: P0DTC7
Accession: YP_009724395.1
Background: Plays a role as antagonist of host tetherin (BST2), disrupting its antiviral effect. Acts by binding to BST2 thereby interfering with its glycosylation. May suppress small interfering RNA (siRNA). May bind to host ITGAL, thereby playing a role in attachment or modulation of leukocytes.
Sequence: Glu16-Tyr97
Purity: > 90 % as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Supplied as solution form in PBS, pH7.5 or lyophilized from PBS, pH7.5
Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
Reconstitution: Please refer to the printed manual for detailed information.
