Applications: WB, IHC

Background: May play a role in apoptosis (PubMed:28688764, PubMed:19969290).Induces activation of MAPK14/p38 and MAPK8/JNK MAPK cascades, when overexpressed (PubMed:16530727).Involved in dental enamel formation (PubMed:30506946).

Product: Liquid in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Specificity: Recognizes endogenous levels of RELT protein.

Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.

Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of RELT expression in Jurkat (A), rat brain (B), SHSY5Y (C) whole cell lysates., Immunohistochemical analysis of RELT staining in human lymph node formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
