Background: This gene encodes a member of the Rho family of small GTPases, which cycle between inactive GDP-bound and active GTP-bound states and function as molecular switches in signal transduction cascades. Rho proteins promote reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton and regulate cell shape, attachment, and motility. Overexpression of this gene is associated with tumor cell proliferation and metastasis. Multiple alternatively spliced variants have been identified.

Purification and Purity: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Exposure time: 180s., Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human placenta using RhoA Rabbit pAb at dilution of 1:100. Perform microwave antigen retrieval with 10 mM Tris/EDTA buffer pH 9.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol., Immunoprecipitation analysis of 200ug extracts of NIH/3T3 cells using 3ug RhoA antibody. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using RhoA antibody at a dilution of 1:500.
