Background: Beta-citrylglutamate synthase B, catalyzes the synthesis of beta-citryl-L-glutamate and N-acetyl-L-aspartyl-L-glutamate. Beta-citryl-L-glutamate is synthesized more efficiently than N-acetyl-L-aspartyl-L-glutamate.

Purification and Purity: The protein was purified from E.coli and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Storage and Stability: Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -25°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
