Rpb1 (phospho-S1619) Polyclonal Antibody

Sizes: 50μl, 100μl

Catalogue Numbers: BS4246-50, BS4246-100

Lead times: 1-2 weeks, if manufacturer has product in stock

Manufacturer/Ship Location: China

Background: RPB1 is a subunit of RNA polymerase II which catalyses transcription of RNA from DNA. RPB1 forms the polymerase active center together with the second largest subunit. Pol II is the central component of the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery. It is composed of mobile elements that move relative to each other. RPB1 is part of the core element with the central large cleft, the clamp element that moves to open and close the cleft and the jaws that are thought to grab the incoming DNA template.

Category: Primary Antibody

Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat

Host: Rabbit

Applications: WB, IHC

Alternate Names: DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit RPB1, RNA polymerase II subunit B1, DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit A, DNA-directed RNA polymerase III largest subunit, RNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit RPB1, POLR2A, POLR2

Clonality: Polyclonal

Conjugate: Unconjugated

Modification: Phosphorylation

Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Rpb1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 1619.

Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:1000
IHC: 1:50~1:200

Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Specificity: p-Rpb1 (S1619) polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of Rpb1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser1619.
