Background: Belongs to the ribonucleoside diphosphate reductase small chain family. Provides the precursors necessary for DNA synthesis. Catalyzes the biosynthesis of deoxyribonucleotides from the corresponding ribonucleotides. Inhibits Wnt signaling.it have two regulatory sites: the specificity site, which controls substrate specificity, and the activity site which regulates overall catalytic activity. A substrate-binding catalytic site, located on M1, is formed only in the presence of the second subunit M2.
Purification and Purity: ProA affinity purified
Storage and Stability: Store at +4°C after thawing. Aliquot store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
Note: For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Extra Notes: Western blot analysis of RRM2 on Hela (1) and HepG2 (2) cell lysate using anti-RRM2 antibody at 1/1,000 dilution.
Bioworld Molecular Weight: 45 kDa
Specificity: RRM2 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of RRM2 protein.
